Bio
Workplace burnout may be in the news lately, but not everyone talking about it speaks from the visceral, lived experience of both employee and researcher who has struggled with burnout and worked within organizations to address it head-on.
Dr. Kristina M. Hansen is a Resilience and Wellbeing practitioner who delivers to organizations—unapologetically, and without shame—her own first-person account of burnout and how she found her way back to thriving. She shares with clients her conviction that both the combination of awakening the power within ourselves, and within our organizations is the path to increasing the personal resilience of individuals and the collective resilience of our workplaces and communities.
Dr. Hansen holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a National Board Certified Teacher with nearly three decades of experience as a public educator, most recently working with historically marginalized populations to create alternative learning environments. She lives in Southern Vermont where she engages in connection with family, the land, her pets, and her favorite activities like knitting and collecting music on vinyl.
